RECOVERY VICTORIA
SOBER LIVING RESIDENCES

Comfortable & supported recovery-focused living

Women's Sober LiVING AT LORRAINE's PLACE

Lorraine’s Place was founded by Together We Can in October of 2019 as Victoria’s first Women Sober Living Residence and accepts women after completion from graduating from partner primary care centres. Lorraine's Place is a safe environment where women can return to work, attend school or volunteer in the community.

Those who stay in a supportive, transitional housing community tend to achieve higher success at long-term sobriety while rebuilding routine, schedule, and trust with their family. Each resident attends outside support and in-house meetings, can attend extracurricular programming, and lives with our on-site manager, providing 24/7 support.

Sober Living at recovery victoria

Recovery does not stop when someone graduates primary care treatment. It is important to continue building the foundation started in primary care, so our residents are better equipped to move back into everyday life. Together We Can offers the largest sober living residence program in British Columbia and has been designed to be a safe, comfortable, substance free space where residents can transition back to work, volunteer or continue their education.

While still being accountable to an everyday routine, chores and house rules, residents continue to live with others in recovery that can empathize with common struggles and barriers that may be presented along the journey. Connection is the opposite of addiction, and Together We Can believes that long-term continued recovery hinges on creating a strong social and professional support network.

With houses throughout the lower mainland and Victoria, residents have the opportunity to live in safe, residential neighbourhoods, but remain connected to Together We Can, so they can continue using available tools and resources that offered in our after-care programs.
