The TWC Summer Slam Recovery Slo-Pitch Tournament is back! On June 4th and 5th at Riverway Sports Complex in Burnaby, we featured over 20 softball teams, drawing a crowd of more than 500 attendee's. Check out the video recap below.
This presentation featured a duo from Winnipeg that have a presentation called Walking As One. Part of the presentation will be on the education and destigmatization of drug use and the second part is on working effectively with individuals from First Nations communities.
This will allow participants to work more effectively with individuals, especially Indigenous clients that are desiring recovery.

Together We Can presented our annual fundraising Gala, "The Way Cool Wellness Telethon". This 80's inspired telethon will feature a 1.5 hour live show, with a focus on strengthening physical, mental and emotional health.
Steven, Alex, and Chelsie discuss what trauma is, how trauma effects those recovering from addiction & how you can provide the best care for them. We will uncover some of the clinical descriptions of what trauma is, as well as provide you with some information so you can recognize if someone is suffering from the effects of trauma in their life.
