Samantha Armstrong

Reporting Counsellor

Sam is a reporting counsellor at TWC. She works with the demographic of clients who come through with 3rd party funding sources such as insurance companies, unions and veterans’ affairs. Sam maintains regular contact with the 3rd party agencies and liaises between the client and the funders, ensuring clients get the treatment they need. She is also responsible for establishing ministry/employee insurance funding mediums for clients and assisting clients with researching funding sources should they wish to return to school. Sam likes to help clients see their potential, and she finds watching them achieve their goals inspiring. She enjoys the variety in her job – it is never boring! Sam graduated with a diploma as a Community Social Services Worker in 2017 and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Psychology. She previously worked at a long-term residential care facility and for the Salvation Army.  Sam spends her free time taking a variety of dance classes – from jazz and hip hop to burlesque and is a huge board game nerd!
