Annie is responsible for raising awareness of TWC’s unique perspective to the addiction recovery community along with leading their business development and marketing initiatives. As a person in long-term recovery herself, her role at TWC allows her to use her energy and enthusiasm to inspire others. Drawing on her 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, Annie combines her background in project and event management with her passion for recovery. In 2012, she was instrumental in developing the first Recovery Day in Vancouver and has since helped to facilitate the growth of the annual Recovery Day events to over 30 cities across Canada. She is the co-founder of Faces and Voices of Recovery Canada, a federally incorporated non-profit dedicated to advocacy in the recovery movement. When she’s not wearing her advocate’s hat, Annie can be found teaching yoga and hanging out with her faithful sidekick Frankie.
