Solid Ground

Mark, our kitchen manager at Solid Ground believes in nourishing our clients with delicious, healthy meals in order to keep their morale up which allows them to concentrate on their healing. He has been cooking most of his life, working in various restaurants and hotels. Once he completed treatment at TWC in 2012, he volunteered in the kitchen which led to him becoming the kitchen manager at TWC centre for three years. He then worked in roles as both support and intake worker.  He was asked to resume cooking again when Solid Ground opened in 2017 and he gratefully accepted. In his spare time, he spends time with his beautiful wife Michelle, their family and their dog, Bane. Mark loves to entertain, and he shows his love through food. His pastimes include playing video games, watching movies and travelling.
