Before I got to TWC I was a mental, emotional, spiritual and physical disaster. I did not know how to live life and I was barely surviving. I felt like a shell of a human being. I felt like I was a bystander of my own life, watching it slip away a little more each day that passed.

My life consisted of using and working. I worked really hard every day to support my habits. I was working so I was able to get my solution, which was drugs. I didn’t realize how mal-adjusted to life I really was until I spent some time at TWC. Drugs were the solution to my problem which was ME. I didn’t fully understand that. All I knew was the fact that there was a problem. I had a void in myself and I filled it with drugs. I thought I needed drugs to be able to do anything. I am writing this today with 57 days clean and my world has taken a complete one eighty.

Today I am happy with who I am. I am becoming the kind caring, compassionate person that drugs once took away. The time I have spent at TWC has been a rough ride with lots of ups and downs, but it has been the best experience of my life. I’m finding out who I really am and getting my values and beliefs back. Most of all, I am starting to love myself again. Today I am able to deal with life and everything that it throws at me without using drugs. TWC staff & clients are amazing people who do absolutely astonishing things. TWC gave me my life back, gave my parents their son back, gave my nephew his uncle back, and gave my buddies their friend back. For that I am forever grateful.

Thank you TWC,

Jesse Loewen
